Technical Assistant (m/f/d) – Internal Medicine, Infectious Diseases and Experimental Pulmonology
We are seeking a Technical Assistant (m/f/d) for a 50% part-time position in the field of clinical infectious diseases and experimental pulmonology.
The main focus of the role is flow cytometry (FACS), including sample preparation, staining, measurement and quality-assured data analysis. Additional responsibilities include processing human and murine samples, immunological and cell biological methods, experimental work with mice, data documentation and laboratory organization.
We are looking for candidates with a relevant qualification as MTA, MTLA, CTA, BTA or equivalent, practical experience in flow cytometry and laboratory-based biomedical research, as well as strong teamwork and organizational skills.

Student Assistant (m/f/d)
Join us at the Professorship of Lung Organoids and Tissue Engineering for Advanced Disease Modeling at the Institute for Lung Health, Justus Liebig University Giessen as Student Assistant (m/f/d).
You have to take care of:
Routine lab maintenance
- Help us managing stocks of consumables
- Preparing solutions for the lab
- Maintaining lab inventory
Technical tasks (short training provided)
- Genotyping (PCR and gel elecrophoresis)
- Cell culture maintenance
- Some histology
