Congratulations, Dr. Theresa Schäfer!
On July 16, Theresa Schäfer successfully defended her PhD thesis titled “The Impact of GM-CSF on Lung Epithelial Cell Injury and Repair in Severe Influenza Virus Pneumonia.”
Following her 30-minute presentation, in which she shared key findings from her research, Theresa engaged in a discussion with her examination committee: Prof. Dr. Susanne Herold (supervisor), Prof. Dr. Friedemann Weber, Prof. Dr. Martin Diener (Justus Liebig University Giessen), and Prof. Dr. Ali Oender Yildirim (Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München).
The defense was followed by a well-deserved celebration with the team.
